The Penicuik and Peebles Podiatrist Clinics
Peebles - 1 Old Tweeddale Garage, Peebles EH45 8BA
Opening in August

Opening Soon!

The Penicuik Podiatrist Clinic opened in 2022, and is now opening a clinic in Peebles. More than this we are starting a working relationship with Peebles Physiotherapy and will be developing our own services to compliment what they do in sports injury. As well as continuing to offer chore podiatry services at both of our locations. The branch will not be opening until some point in August, in all probability from the start of August. Please come back to this page from time to time for updates.

We will be working at the Peebles branch of Peebles Physiotherapy at 1 Old Tweeddale Garage, Peebles EH45 8BA.

Expect to be able to book appointments here online in a few weeks.

DO NOT USE CORN PLASTERS!!!

This video highlights the potential dangers associated with medicated corn removers.

Recently, we treated a patient who experienced severe skin damage after using a corn plaster purchased from a local pharmacy. The salicylic acid in the plaster caused a burn that extended almost to the bone. We immediately referred her to her GP for urgent care.

We've initiated discussions with the retail pharmacy to raise awareness about the risks of selling these products without proper podiatric guidance. It's crucial to understand that while corn plasters are readily available, their misuse can lead to serious complications.

We highly recommend watching the video above before attempting any self-treatment. Being informed about the risks can prevent potential harm.

Always consult with a qualified podiatrist before using such treatments to ensure your safety and well-being.
